Nudjanuka

Disaster occurs when a young boy doesn’t listen to the rules.

Synopsis:
Back in the Dreamtime there was a little boy called Nudjanuka. Every morning as the sun was coming up the birds would wake Nudjanuka up to go play with them.

One day they went to the beach. As they passed the biggest gum tree, a wise old owl saw Nudjanuka and told him it will be getting late in a few hours and they still had a long way to go. Nudjanuka and the other birds but they all continued to the beach. When they arrived they swam and played in the sand.

It was getting dark so they decided to go, but before they did, Nudjanuka had one more swim. The wise old owl went to look for Nudjanuka when she saw he wasn’t on his way home with his friends.They knew that because Nudjanuka got caught in the tide, he could never come home again.
