Synopsis:
Bungana wanted to be a warrior and hunter like his father. Each night Bungana would gather wood for the camp fire and sit and wait with his mother for his fathers return from hunting. Then Bungana would sit and listen to his father tell him about his hunting trips. One night, Bungana and his mother sat by the camp fire waiting for his father when Bungana noticed the worried look on his mothers face. Bungana decided he would be brave and go to look for his father, as he may need help to carry home his kill. As Bungana walked further into the bush he could hear all the night noises. This frightened Bungana but he continued because he knew he had to be brave and find his father. Bungana found a safe place to rest for the night, and the next morning he awoke and went further into the bush. He came to the caves where the dreaming spirits lived. As he went closer to the caves he could see something lying on the ground. It was his father. Bungana ran to him asking him if he was alright. He had fallen and hurt his ankle. Bungana’s father was very proud of him to find him on his own. Bungana had now become a brave little warrior.
